I've been wanting to start a travel blog for several years, but my perfectionism has gotten in the way. If it's not the absolute best I can do, it's not worth it, I thought. Recently though, I've come to better terms with the fruitlessness of pursuing perfection and said 'what the heck, let's get this thing started!'
The blog's title is pretty self-explanatory. I'd like to share with you some of my travel experiences and reflections upon them. I'll try not to put you to sleep. Hopefully the content will be simple yet profound, short, sweet, and engaging. I've never done this before so bear with me as I get the kinks worked out.
For those of you who may not know me, check out my bio. One thing I don't profess to be is a world traveler; yes, I've been to a handful of countries in Europe and one in South America, but the vast majority of my travels have been of the 'more realistic' variety. New England, the US Midwest, Canada, and a few trips out west. I haven't been abroad since 2009, and likely won't be again until COVID is a distant memory. If you're cool with all that, welcome and read on! It's great to have you along for the journey :)
